About Pingstack
Pingstack tells teams when a scheduled job stops running, a site or port goes down, or a certificate or domain is about to expire, and lets their AI tools set that monitoring up.
Who builds it
Pingstack is built by Jason and Jacob at Atomic Van. We’ve been best friends since the sixth grade, and for over 20 years we’ve built and run SaaS apps together, including ecommerce platforms, content delivery networks and regional real estate sites.
Every one of them needed monitoring, and no single service covered it all. We usually ran several at once: one for website uptime, another for cron jobs, a dead man’s switch for the scripts nobody remembered, and calendar reminders for certificates and domains. Each one had its own alerts, its own bill and its own blind spots.
Pingstack is the tool we wished we’d had. It watches scheduled jobs, websites, ports, DNS records, certificates and domains in one place, and sends alerts to whoever is on duty. It grows with an app, from its first cron job to a thousand checks across a large production stack.
We also wanted AI tools to be able to use it. When a developer builds a feature with an AI coding tool, that same tool can set up the feature’s monitoring through Pingstack’s MCP server. New jobs and endpoints get watched from the day they ship.

How Pingstack monitors itself
We watch our own scheduling job and the health of our probe regions. If a region gets unhealthy, we hold its alerts so you don’t get paged for our problem. See it on Pingstack’s public status page.
Press
Pingstack is cron, uptime and certificate monitoring, with an MCP server so AI agents can set it up. Plans start free for 15 checks, Pro is $12 a month, and Business includes 1,000 checks and 30-second checks.
