Domain expiry monitoring
Pingstack checks registration expiry hourly and alerts the people you choose a set number of days before a domain lapses. Agencies use it to watch every client domain in one list.
How it works
- Add the domain.
- Set the warning and critical thresholds in days before expiry.
- Route it to the people who can renew it.
What you can configure
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Warning threshold | Days before expiry when the check turns degraded |
| Critical threshold | Days before expiry when the check fails |
| Notification groups | Who gets alerted, and how |

FAQ
Common questions
My registrar sends renewal emails. Why do I need this?
Registrar emails go to whoever registered the domain, and that might be a former employee or a client. Pingstack sends the warning to the notification group that looks after the site.
How often is expiry checked?
Every hour, on every plan.
How many domains can I watch?
Each domain is one check, so Free covers 15 and Team covers 250 across all check types.
