Downtime alerts in your Discord server
Pick a Discord channel for each notification group, and down and recovery messages land there. It’s a great fit for homelabs, indie projects and open-source communities.
How it works
- Alerts you can read at a glance. Each incident posts as an embed. It’s red while the incident is open and green when it recovers, and it shows the start time in each reader’s own time zone, the cause and a link back to the check.
- No surprise pings. Pingstack turns off mentions in its messages, so a check name can’t notify @everyone or a role.
- Your weekly summary, too. Discord channels get the weekly monitoring summary as well.
Set it up
- Connect Discord from the Discord card on the Channels page, and add Pingstack’s bot to your server. An Owner or Admin connects it.
- Pick a channel for a notification group. For a private channel, give the bot access first. Pingstack posts a welcome message so you know it worked.
- Add the group to checks. Incidents and recoveries post there.
