Incident alerts as cards in a Teams channel

Pick a Teams channel for each notification group, and every outage and recovery posts there as a card. It’s a good fit for IT teams and agencies whose people (and clients) live in Microsoft 365.

What each card shows

  • What happened, in red while a check is down and green once it recovers.
  • When it started, and when it resolved.
  • What the check watches: the URL, service or DNS name, plus the cause and probe locations.
  • A View check button that opens the check in Pingstack.

Set it up

  1. In Teams, open the channel’s … menu, choose Workflows, pick Send webhook alerts to a channel and copy the URL.
  2. In Pingstack, add a Microsoft Teams channel to a notification group and paste the URL.
  3. Send a test alert from the channel page, then add the group to your checks.

There’s no app to install and no admin consent to request. Pingstack keeps the workflow URL encrypted and never shows it again after you save it. Full steps are in the docs.
